The Somers-Fraussen Lab at Hasselt University is seeking ambitious PhD candidates to join their research team in neuroimmunology and autoimmunity. The lab focuses on the role of B cells and antibodies in complex neurological and autoimmune diseases, including multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, immune aging, and arthritic diseases. The lab is highly experienced in human B cell analysis, both phenotypically and functionally, and has developed an optimized pipeline for autoantibody discovery, validation, and characterization.
