Copenhagen Business School (CBS) invites applications for a Postdoctoral position in Consumer Behaviour and Sustainability at the Department of Management, Society and Communication (MSC). This position is part of the international Horizon Europe TIPRO project, a collaboration with KU Leuven, Wageningen University & Research, and food sector partners in Denmark, Belgium, and the Netherlands. The project aims to identify leverage points to accelerate the transition to more sustainable food systems, focusing on food consumption, distribution, and policy.
At CBS, the postdoc will join the Consumer and Behavioural Insights Group, contributing to the design, execution, and analysis of experimental consumer research. The research will focus on testing interventions to change consumer behaviour across different food environments. The position is supervised by Associate Professor Meike Janssen and may involve participation in other collaborative research projects and grant acquisition activities.
Applicants should have a PhD or equivalent in consumer behaviour, marketing, psychology, behavioural economics, food sciences, or related fields. Essential qualifications include professional proficiency in English, experience with consumer experiments, and quantitative statistical analysis. Experience with project management and proficiency in Danish and/or Dutch are advantageous but not required. The successful candidate is expected to be physically present at CBS and actively participate in departmental and group activities.
The position is non-tenured for 29 months, with a possible extension to 36 months if teaching is included. The application deadline is 16 February 2026, with a flexible start date from April 2026. CBS is committed to diversity and encourages all qualified candidates to apply.
