The Institute of Hematology and Center for Hemato-Oncology Research at the University and Hospital of Perugia, Italy, is offering a postdoctoral position in the pathogenesis of human lymphomas and leukemias, with a particular focus on Hodgkin lymphoma and hairy cell leukemia. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and multidisciplinary team, contributing to projects aimed at clarifying the mechanisms underlying hematological cancers and translating these findings into clinical applications. Applicants should possess a PhD or equivalent research experience, strong theoretical and practical knowledge of molecular and cellular biology methods, and prior experience in cancer pathogenesis, preferably hematological cancers. Familiarity with (epi)genomic techniques (e.g., RNA/DNA-seq, ChIP, Cut&Run, chromosome conformation capture-seq) is advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate enthusiasm, creativity, independence, and collaborative skills, as well as proficiency in English and the ability to quickly master relevant literature, design experiments, interpret and present data, interact with team members, and write scientific reports and grant applications.
