A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available in the Water and Environmental Systems Analysis Lab (WESA) at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi. The research focuses on integrated modeling of urban water and environmental systems, with key topics including urban stormwater hydrology, nonpoint source pollution, and human–water and socio-environmental dynamics. The WESA Lab specializes in the integration of hydrological and geospatial analysis to understand the interactions between the hydrological cycle and water infrastructure, with implications for water security, environmental sustainability, and coastal resilience.

Applicants should have a PhD in civil engineering, environmental science, computer science, or a related field. Required experience includes research in hydrology, water resources, geospatial analysis, or machine learning, along with excellent scientific writing and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with urban hydrologic or environmental models, agent-based or individual-based socio-environmental modeling, and hydrologic or environmental fieldwork.
