Postdoctoral Researcher in AI-based Energy Management for Maritime Energy Storage Systems at TU Delft Delft University of Technology in Netherlands

Delft University of Technology is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher in AI-based Energy Management for Maritime Energy Storage Systems. The position is part of the NWO SEANERGETIC project and is based in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The research focuses on developing advanced time-series forecasting models, forecast-informed energy management strategies, and multi-objective control approaches that consider efficiency, degradation, and safety in maritime energy storage systems.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Associate Professor Andrea Coraddu and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Applicants should have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with expertise in AI, time-series forecasting, energy management, and control systems. Strong analytical and programming skills, as well as excellent communication in English, are required.
