The University of Jyväskylä invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher specializing in cost-effectiveness research within the multidisciplinary JYU.Well community. JYU.Well integrates diverse disciplinary insights to foster a holistic understanding of wellbeing-related phenomena, with strong relevance to research, policy, and practice. The Postdoctoral Researcher will conduct quality research, support interdisciplinary development of wellbeing activities, supervise theses, and participate in acquiring external funding. The position emphasizes generating societal impact by clarifying the cost-effectiveness and wellbeing impacts of decision-making at individual, community, and societal levels. Candidates are expected to develop and apply tools for research on cost-effectiveness and impact of various wellbeing services, including health, rehabilitation, and social care.
Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in a relevant field by the application deadline. Required qualifications include evidence of research on cost-effectiveness in wellbeing, research-methodological expertise, and interdisciplinary research experience.
