About this position

The successful candidate will join the research group of Professor K. Melnick in the Department of Mathematics, focusing on group actions, geometric structures, and smooth dynamical systems. This role is ideal for candidates with a recent Ph.D. in Mathematics, particularly those specializing in differential geometry, transformation groups, or dynamical systems.

The postdoctoral researcher will actively participate in the scientific activities of the group, including seminars, workshops, conferences, and collaborative research initiatives. In addition to research, the position includes teaching responsibilities such as bachelor-level tutorials, lectures, project supervision, and other pedagogical activities, up to 90 hours per year. Outreach and dissemination activities aimed at promoting mathematics to the academic community and the public are also encouraged.
