The University of Vigo, through the CINBIO research group led by María D. Mayán Santos, is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join a project focused on preclinical assays in animal models of osteoarthritis and other age-related disorders. The research is funded under the IGNICIA programme by the Axencia Galega de Innovación, with the aim of translating innovative therapies from the laboratory to clinical application. The successful candidate will lead efficacy, toxicity, and biodistribution studies, contributing to the translational aspects of the project and potentially continuing in a future spin-off.

Applicants should have a PhD and demonstrated experience in animal models, preferably related to osteoarthritis or aging. Knowledge of regulatory affairs is highly valued, as is the ability to work independently and lead translational research. The position offers a very competitive salary and excellent working conditions for a two-year contract, with the possibility of extension.
