The position, Intern, Global Village Savings and Loan Program, focuses on knowledge management, communications, and storytelling, supporting the Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLA) approach across multiple countries. Key responsibilities include content curation, writing human-interest stories, organizing information, and supporting internal communications systems. Interns will help document and share stories and learning from VSLA projects worldwide, gaining exposure to global NGO operations and cross-country collaboration.
Applicants should be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program such as International Development, Communications, Journalism, Social Sciences, Economics, Gender Studies, or Public Policy. Experience with writing, communications, content management, or storytelling is desirable, as is familiarity with NGOs or international development. English proficiency is required, and French is desirable. The internship is paid, with a stipend provided, and no application or placement fees are charged. The position is fully remote, with no travel required.
