Fully Funded PhD Positions in Neural Interface Circuits, Microsystems, and Brain–Computer Interfaces

The Neuro-IC Lab at York University, led by Associate Professor Hossein Kassiri, is seeking candidates for four fully funded PhD positions starting in Summer or Fall 2026. The lab focuses on the development of analog and mixed-signal neural interface circuits, on-chip intelligent processing (including digital and neuromorphic systems), and RF/ultrasonic systems for wireless power and data telemetry in implantable and wearable brain–computer interfaces. Successful applicants will join a vibrant interdisciplinary research environment with access to state-of-the-art tools and facilities for microsystems design, fabrication, packaging, and testing.
