Postdoctoral Associate in Health, Environmental, and Crime Economics at University of Colorado Boulder
The University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to join a collaborative research team focused on health, environmental, and crime economics. The position, starting July 1, 2026, is based at the Leeds School of Business and the Institute of Behavioral Science (IBS), with supervision from Professors Stephen Billings (University of Colorado Boulder), Ludovica Gazze (University of Warwick), and Kevin Schnepel (Simon Fraser University). The research centers on the impacts of childhood lead exposure in Colorado and extends to broader topics in health, environmental, and crime economics.
This full-time, grant-funded position offers a competitive annual salary of $96,000, comprehensive benefits (including medical, dental, retirement, paid time off, tuition assistance, and local transit pass), and the possibility of remote work. The initial appointment is for one year, with the potential for renewal for a second year, contingent on final grant approval. The research environment at IBS is highly interdisciplinary, supporting work that addresses complex societal issues and informs public policy.
Key responsibilities include working with large datasets, conducting econometric and statistical analyses, and contributing to academic research papers.
