Research Explorer Ruhr 2026: Postdoc Preparation Fellowship in Multidisciplinary Research

The Research Explorer Ruhr 2026 program is a unique opportunity for international doctoral researchers who have submitted their thesis and early postdoctoral researchers who have recently completed their PhD to explore postdoc possibilities in the Ruhr Area of Germany. The program includes workshops on German postdoc funding schemes, research career options, and proposal writing, as well as networking events and excursions to help fellows discover the Ruhr region as a vibrant place to work and live. The program is designed to support early career researchers in acquiring grants from major donors such as Alexander-von-Humboldt, DAAD, and the European Commission.
