The International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) on Cognitive NeuroImaging offers a highly interdisciplinary PhD program focused on cognitive neuroimaging, cognitive neuroscience, clinical and translational neuroscience, and neuroimaging. The program is hosted by the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig, Germany, in partnership with Leipzig University, TU Dresden, and University College London. Doctoral researchers benefit from access to state-of-the-art facilities, including advanced MRI and MEG systems, and a multidisciplinary faculty of over 30 renowned researchers. The structured 3-year program features innovative teaching methods such as hybrid and remote learning, flipped classrooms, and a strong emphasis on Open Science. Funding is available for a limited number of students through German TVöD contracts, with a gross annual salary of approximately €40,500; external funding options are also possible. Applicants must hold a master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field, have research experience, and demonstrate proficiency in English.
