PhD and Integrated MS-PhD Positions in Digital Systems, Analog/Mixed-Signal Design, and Quantum Machine Learning at Inha University

Inha University, located in Incheon, South Korea, is offering three fully funded graduate student positions for the Fall 2026 admission cycle in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. These positions are open for PhD, integrated MS-PhD, and exceptional MS applicants. The research areas include Digital Systems Design, Analog/Mixed-Signal Design, and Quantum-Inspired Machine Learning (Software). The lab, led by Professor Yeongkyo Seo, is seeking candidates with backgrounds in electrical/electronic engineering, computer science, physics, or related disciplines. Position 1 focuses on RTL level digital systems design using Verilog/VHDL for error correction code and/or built-in self-test, suitable for students from electrical engineering or computer science. Position 2 is centered on transistor-level analog/mixed-signal CMOS circuit design, ideal for those with an electrical engineering background. Position 3 explores quantum-inspired machine learning (software), targeting students from computer science, physics, or electrical engineering. All positions are fully funded through the National Research Foundation of Korea. Applicants should have a strong academic background and relevant experience or interest in the specified research areas.
