Funding details

The scholarship is fully funded for both UK/EU and international students, covering full tuition fees and providing an annual stipend of £20,780 for three years. Funding is awarded on a rolling basis, and additional bursaries may be available.

What's required

Applicants must hold at least a 2:1 honours degree or its international equivalent, with outstanding grades in both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in relevant disciplines such as Statistics, Financial Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, or related fields. A strong research proposal is required. Applications must include a personal statement, CV, two academic references, and degree transcripts. English language requirements and standard PhD admission criteria of the University of Southampton apply.

Add the supervisor's name and specify Banking and Finance as your area. Prepare a personal statement, CV, two academic references, degree transcripts, and a research proposal.
