Are you passionate about advancing the future of aerospace technology? We’re looking for a motivated PhD candidate to join our research team Flow Control and Aeroacoustics Group at Politecnico di Torino and work on the aerodynamics and aeroacoustics of advanced bulk absorber liners through high-fidelity numerical simulations. This position is part of the prestigious European Research Council (ERC) -funded project LINING.
?? Project Focus: The research will involve cutting-edge simulations to optimize noise reduction and airflow properties in aerospace components. As part of the LINING project, this work aims to innovate in liner technology to create quieter, more efficient systems for the aerospace industry.
?? Key Skills:
- Strong background in aerodynamics, fluid mechanics, or related fields
- Experience in computational simulations (CFD, aeroacoustics preferred)
- Programming skills (Python, MATLAB) and familiarity with high-performance computing environments are a plus
- Curiosity, creativity, and a drive to push the boundaries of what’s possible in aerospace engineering
