About this position

Funded PhD positions, post-doctoral fellowships, and other forms of research collaboration are available for a nationally-funded research project to work on AI-based modeling of an Indigenous language and investigating related multimedia educational applications and methods. Expertise in LLMs is required and familiarity with using AI for non-English languages and AI training with smaller data sets are assets. Canadian researchers from groups that are under-represented in academia, particularly Indigenous communities, are encouraged to join the research team.
