This position focuses on simulation and control development for solid-state transformers and power electronics at various voltage levels.

Applicants should be current graduate students (Master’s or PhD) in electrical engineering or related fields, with strong backgrounds in power electronics, grid stability, modeling, simulation, and control systems. Experience with inverter-based resources, EMT modeling, or real-time simulation is a plus. Motivation and the ability to work in a research environment are essential.
