The Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig, Germany, is offering a 3-year PhD position in the Brain Networks Research & Development Group led by Prof. Thomas R. Knösche. The project focuses on investigating the role of long-range brain connectivity in human language processing, utilizing EEG and MRI experiments, and realistic modeling of biological neural networks. The research is interdisciplinary and involves collaboration with TU Berlin, TU Chemnitz, and the Czech Academy of Sciences, supported by DFG funding. Applicants should have a Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, neuroscience, physics, or a related field, with strong programming skills (C++, Matlab, Python).
