This PhD project is supported by a Research project scholarship, which includes a living stipend of $37,500 per annum (2026 rate, tax free, indexed annually), full tuition fee coverage, and single overseas student health cover (OSHC).

Requirements
Applicants should have a strong academic record and preferably a background in plant or crop physiology, crop modelling, statistics, or genetics. A working knowledge of plant science is beneficial. Selection is competitive and considers academic record, publication record, honours and awards, and employment history. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the University of Queensland.
