PhD Position in 3D Printing, Materials Science, and Women's Health Innovation Hudson Institute of Medical Research in Australia

A fully funded PhD scholarship is available for a student interested in 3D printing, materials science, and women's health innovation. The project focuses on developing 3D printed surgical meshes to improve outcomes and reduce complications for pelvic organ prolapse (POP), a condition affecting half of women over 50. The research will combine 3D printing, cell culture, and surface modification to create safer, more effective solutions for POP. The student will work across the Hudson Institute of Medical Research, Monash University, Swinburne University of Technology, and the Australian National Fabrication Facility (ANFF). Ideal candidates will have experience or a strong interest in 3D printing, materials science, biomedical engineering, and women's health. Preference is given to domestic students.
