About this position

The Department of Civil and Water Engineering at Université Laval is seeking a PhD student to join the INTERFACE Project, focusing on the mechanical behavior and assessment of asphalt layer interfaces. Ideal candidates will have a BSc and MSc in civil, pavement, materials engineering, or a related field, a strong academic record, and research potential. Proficiency in English or French is required. Experience with laboratory testing, sensors, signal processing, or data analysis is an asset, and interest in machine learning or numerical modeling is a plus. The position is project-funded, with a stipend for admitted students and access to specialized laboratory facilities and research training.
