About this position

Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) at Jönköping University, Sweden, is inviting applications for four fully funded PhD positions in Business Administration. The program is designed for candidates aiming for an international academic career in business and entrepreneurship research.

PhD students are employed full-time, with 80% of their time dedicated to research and coursework and 20% to teaching and administrative duties. The positions are fully financed with competitive salaries and offer opportunities for professional development, teaching experience, and international exposure. The start date is September 1, 2026.

Applicants must hold (or be close to completing) a Master’s degree with at least 240 ECTS credits (minimum 60 at the second-cycle level) and at least 90 ECTS credits in Business Administration. Fluency in English is required. Application materials include a letter of intent, research proposal (max 3000 words), CV, transcripts, Master’s thesis (or draft/summary), a reference letter, and contact information for two additional referees.
