About this position

Dear all,

Together with Dr. Emma Simpson in the Department of Statistical Science at UCL, we are looking for a PhD student to work on a project developing methods to handle missing data when modelling extremes.

Understanding extreme events is crucial in many settings, from environment to finance, and missing data present an important challenge that needs to be overcome here. The project will thus look to develop both novel methods and practical tools within this area.

There is the potential for funding through the UCL EPSRC-DTP and will be allocated competitively. Applicants with overseas fee status are also welcome to apply.

More details about the project are available at the link below. Please can you share this opportunity amongst your networks and if anyone is interested in finding out more about this opportunity please feel free to email me at [email protected]

Thank you very much!
