About this position

Hofstra University is inviting applications for a part-time Adjunct Instructor/Assistant Professor in the Department of Global Studies and Geography for Fall 2026.

The teaching assignment is one in-person undergraduate course: GEOG 123, Geography of Eastern Europe and the Republics of the former Soviet Union. The course examines the environment and peoples of Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union, with emphasis on past territorial changes and recent social, economic, and political transitions. Enrollment is capped at 37 students, and the class meets on campus only on Mondays and Wednesdays, 8:00 a.m. – 9:25 a.m.
