Redox Photocatalysis: Celebrating Our Publication from Center of Excellence for NaNo Energy & Catalysis Technology (hashtag#CONNECT), Xiamen University Malaysia in Advanced Functional Materials I'm thrilled and proud to share the publication of our recent research in redox photocatalysis in the top-tier materials science journal, Advanced Functional Materials (IF: 18.5, Q1) Wiley by my postgraduate students, Grayson Ling Zhi Sheng and Zi Jing Chiah. Thanks to my ongoing active collaboration with Steven Kok (PhD student), Dr. Lling Lling Tan, Peipei Zhang (PhD student), and Prof. Binghui Chen. Hard work pays off eventually!Together at the Center of Excellence for NaNo Energy & Catalysis Technology (hashtag#CONNECT), School of Energy and Chemical Engineering, Xiamen University Malaysia (hashtag#XMUM), we've successfully developed a unique 1D-assembled sea-urchin Z-scheme photocatalyst composed of ZnIn2S4/W18O49 hybrid.Our research focuses on the application of this innovative catalyst in fully utilizing electron-hole pairs for simultaneous redox reactions, driving both hydrogen evolution and the selective oxidation of benzyl alcohol to benzaldehyde. ????Curious to learn more about how this could revolutionize clean energy?
