This continuing education programme is designed for doctors, pharmacists, biologists, health professionals, students, and researchers working in health and clinical research. It focuses on biostatistics, clinical research, statistical methods, data analysis, regression, ROC curves, survival analysis, epidemiology, and clinical trials.
Participants will learn how to choose appropriate statistical methods for a clinical question and data type, describe and compare data, build and interpret statistical models, evaluate diagnostic and predictive scores, contribute to a protocol or statistical analysis plan, and present results according to CONSORT and STROBE recommendations.
The programme combines theoretical courses with tutorials based on real cases using statistical software. It runs on Wednesday afternoons from November to June, with a progressive structure from clinical question to data, method, analysis, and reporting.
