About this position

ARC Project Grant-supported scholarships in the fields of microfluidics, magnetics, analytical chemistry and biosensor technologies. The projects are focused on studying the motion dynamics of magnetic particles and their functionalized biological counterparts in microfluidic systems. The research aims to develop innovative methods for sorting and detecting biological species via controlling their transport within microfluidic environments.

By exploring the interactions between magnetic forces, particle shapes, and fluid hydrodynamic forces in microscale channels, this project will generate essential knowledge to advance next-generation technologies for efficiently separating and detecting non-spherical biological particles.
