National University of Singapore (NUS) Department of Architecture is advertising two faculty openings in Architectural Conservation, linked to the NUS Architectural Conservation programme and ArCLab (Architectural Conservation Laboratory).

One opening is a Tenure Track Assistant Professor position in Architectural Conservation. The role seeks a highly qualified, interdisciplinary candidate with research expertise in policies, philosophies, and practices related to architectural and urban heritage, with a strong emphasis on Southeast Asia or Asia more broadly. A PhD is required. The successful candidate will teach core, elective, and/or studio courses and is expected to build a strong research agenda and collaborate with industry and government partners.

The second opening is Programme Director of the Master of Arts in Architectural Conservation at the rank of Associate Professor (Practice Track). This role is aimed at a senior professional with a sustained practice career in architectural conservation and heritage management, plus a graduate-level architectural degree accredited by professional bodies. The position involves strategic leadership, curriculum oversight, staff and student support, and liaison with department and university management.

The MAArC programme is a one-year graduate degree focused on conservation policy, architectural history, construction and preservation techniques, and heritage management. It emphasizes Asian cultures, historic building conservation, urban heritage, and hands-on training. NUS Architecture highlights its international faculty, strong global ranking, and resources such as the Architectural Conservation Laboratory and related heritage facilities.
