About this position

The FAIS (Ford AI and Society) Lab at W&M is looking for 2 PhD students join our lab this Fall! If you're passionate about advancing the frontiers of technology and have an interest in the intersection of artificial intelligence and human interaction, we'd love to hear from you.

Our research includes:

* Agentic AI Systems: Designing AI that can operate autonomously while being accountable and interpretable.

* Human-AI Teaming: Enhancing collaboration between humans and AI to create systems that leverage the strengths of both.

* Social Media Analysis: Investigating online behaviors and network dynamics to understand information spread and influence.

* Network Science: Applying advanced methods to model and analyze complex networks in various contexts.
