About this position

The School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at Clemson University is hiring a tenure-track Assistant Professor for the Jeff and Karen Camm Endowed Professorship in Data Science and Decision Intelligence.

This opportunity is aimed at candidates with expertise in statistics, data science, operations research, or closely related quantitative fields. The post also highlights interest in applicants with experience collaborating with industry and/or integrating AI with data science, optimization, or statistics.

The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a strong research program and teach/develop courses for both graduate and undergraduate students. The role connects to Clemson’s recently launched programs in M.S. and Ph.D. in Data Science and Statistics as well as the B.S. in Data Science.
