Call for Expressions of Interest for 2 full-time Assistant Professor positions at the Department of Economic Structure (Applied Economics II), University of Valencia, starting in the 2026–2027 academic year (September 1, 2026).

The opportunity is aimed at candidates with a strong research profile in Applied Economics, especially International Trade, Industrial Organization, Regional Studies, and Environmental Economics. The department highlights an international and dynamic research environment with active participation in research projects, seminars, and collaborations with leading institutions worldwide.

Eligibility highlights: Ph.D. completed by May 2026; C1 proficiency in both English and Spanish. Degrees from Spanish-speaking countries satisfy the Spanish language requirement, and degrees from English-speaking countries satisfy the English language requirement.

Position details: 6-year appointment with possibility of tenure afterward; salary €33,150 gross per year; teaching load 180 hours per year.
