Universidad Andres Bello in Santiago, Chile is advertising a full-time Assistant Professor (tenure track) position in the Department of English.

The role is centered on Education and Applied Linguistics, with a strong emphasis on English as a Foreign Language / English as an International Language / English as a Second Language. Desired expertise includes curriculum design, resources, and assessment of EFL. The successful candidate should have a strong research and teaching profile and be ready to teach across delivery modes, including in-person and online.

The department expects the appointee to contribute to original and innovative research, apply for competitive research funding, collaborate in research and team teaching, support curriculum development, and take on administrative responsibilities within the department.

Eligibility: Applicants must hold a PhD or EdD in one of the relevant areas. Candidates who are close to completing their doctorate may also be considered. Preference will be given to applicants who already hold residential status/visa in Chile.
