Are you passionate about understanding how ubiquitin signalling regulates R-loop biology and the DNA replication stress response? If so, this fully funded 4-year PhD position at Lancaster University could be the perfect opportunity for you!
This exciting project will explore the role of a ubiquitin ligase in R-loop biology and the DNA replication stress response. This PhD position is funded by Lancaster University Faculty of Health and Medicine and the research will be conducted in my lab at Lancaster University in collaboration with Dr Nikki Copeland .

Who Should Apply?
We are looking for highly motivated candidates with:
· A strong background in cell and molecular biology.
· Ideally, experience in DNA damage/repair and/or DNA replication stress response.
· A passion for cancer biology, replication stress, and R-loop biology.
· A minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field. A Master’s degree is desirable.
