Sonali Majumdar, PhD, Assistant Dean at Princeton University, is hosting a book talk titled Thriving as an International Scientist for graduate students and postdocs at the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center UTHealth Houston Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.

The session focuses on practical guidance for international trainees, including visas, work authorization, professional networking, self-advocacy, career planning, resilience, and long-term success while balancing immigration realities with scientific and professional growth.

This event is relevant to students and researchers in biomedical sciences, biology, and medical science, especially those navigating international trainee pathways. All GSBS students and alumni are invited. Lunch will be provided, and the first 25 students will receive a copy of the book.
