Postdoctoral Associate

The Sun and Vander Kooi labs are seeking multiple entry-level Postdoctoral Fellow to join our innovative research team. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong interest in pursuing an academic career. We are looking for individuals with excellent work ethic, high moral standards, a collaborative mindset, and a willingness to learn new concepts and methodologies. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills are highly valued.

While experience in mass spectrometry and/or cancer biology is preferred, it is not required. Successful candidates will receive career advancement opportunities, including training in grant writing, manuscript preparation, and professional development.

The primary focus of this role will be to study the physiological and genotypic drivers of cancer survival disparities using advanced spatial biology techniques. The Postdoctoral Fellow will gain hands-on experience with the latest spatial metabolomics technologies and innovative mouse models, offering a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of cancer research.

$60,000-$70,000; commensurate with education and experience

PhD in Neuroscience, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
