The Research Laboratory of Prof. Serdal Kirmizialtin at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) is seeking a talented postdoctoral associate to join their team in the Division of Science. The position focuses on the development and application of advanced molecular dynamics techniques to study Atmospheric Water Harvesting, a field with significant environmental and materials science implications. The Kirmizialtin Lab specializes in molecular dynamics simulations to investigate molecular thermal motions, which are crucial for understanding biochemical processes and developing new materials.

Strong programming skills (UNIX, Python, shell scripting), familiarity with modern sampling techniques (e.g., metadynamics), and experience with software such as Gromacs, MAPS, PLUMED, and quantum mechanics packages are highly valued. Excellent communication skills and a proven research record are also important.
