Ai-based Application For Interpreting Needle Emg
About this position
We have a position for a PhD candidate! With ARISE-NMD, we are about to embark on a mission to create an AI-based application that can interpret the needle EMG at the level of an expert clinical neurophysiologist. The project will involve three PhD students, who will work together, tackling the problem from slightly different angles, with the aim of having a working prototype in four years time. The PhD position below is for a PhD student who will create the largest, freely accessible online annotated EMG database ever made. This will be an essential first step to create working AI models. This PhD student will also perform clinical validation studies and will be supervised jointly by my colleague Camiel Verhamme at Amsterdam UMC and myself. You will be part of a larger team including Henk Marquering, Anna Kononova and Thomas Bäck.Feel free to apply or forward to anyone that could be interested!
