We are recruiting a fully funded PhD student to join the Computer Vision for Digital Twin ( CV4DT ) team at the University of Cambridge.
The project will explore how physical reasoning, large language models (LLMs), diffusion models, computer vision, and reinforcement learning can empower robotics to reshape and revolutionise construction.
?? What we are looking for:
We welcome motivated students with a passion for robotics, embodied AI, 3D computer vision, LLMs, diffusion models, and reinforcement learning. Applicants should have:
- A strong background in mathematics, physics, and good experience in Python/C++.
- Education/experience in computer vision, robotics, computer science, or information engineering.
- Publications in top-tier venues (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ECCV, AAAI, IROS, ICRA, TPAMI) will be highly valued.

?? Environment & Collaboration
The successful candidate will join the Smart Infrastructure and Construction (CSIC), the Laing O'Rourke Centre for Construction Engineering and Technology, University of Cambridge and collaborate with the CV4DT robotics team. We also encourage applicants to start building collaborations with our group before enrolment.
