The University of Luxembourg invites applications for a Doctoral researcher in Tax Law within its Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance (FDEF). The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Professor Werner Haslehner, preparing a doctoral thesis in the field of Tax Law. The research topic should be proposed by the candidate and developed in close discussion with the supervisor, with particular encouragement for topics relevant to Luxembourg and its legal doctrine. The doctoral researcher will also contribute to teaching, typically in small group settings and tutorials, for one to three hours per week.

PhD researchers in the Department of Law are embedded in a research group comprising professors, PhDs, and postdoctoral researchers focused on tax law. They have access to university events and are encouraged to participate actively in academic conferences and seminars as part of their training. Applicants must hold a Master's Degree in tax law and demonstrate at least B2-level proficiency in the language of their thesis.
