The University of Luxembourg invites applications for a Doctoral Researcher position in Tax Law within its Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance (FDEF). The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Professor Werner Haslehner, preparing a doctoral thesis in the field of Tax Law. The research topic should be proposed by the candidate and developed in close discussion with the supervisor, with a preference for topics relevant to Luxembourg and contributing to the development of Luxembourg legal doctrine. The position also involves contributing to teaching activities, typically in small group settings and tutorials, for one to three hours per week.

Doctoral researchers will be embedded in a research group comprising professors, PhDs, and postdoctoral researchers focused on tax law. They will have access to university events and are encouraged to participate actively in academic conferences and seminars as part of their training. Applicants must hold a Master's Degree in tax law and demonstrate at least B2-level proficiency in the language of their thesis.
