The Environmental Education and Behavior Lab at the University of Florida is seeking a motivated PhD student to conduct cutting-edge research at the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and environmental education (EE).
This research will explore how AI can enhance environmental education for both educators and students, fostering AI literacy and improving EE outcomes. Potential research areas include:
? Educators’ perspectives on using AI in EE
? Developing tools to measure and enhance AI literacy in EE
? Training programs to support educators in integrating AI
? Assessing the impact of AI literacy on student learning and behavior
?? What is Offered:
? Fully funded position (12-month salary: $30K/year, health insurance, tuition waiver)
? Supportive, interdisciplinary research environment
? Opportunity to work with Florida Project Learning Tree and other UF research teams
