We're offering a fully-funded PhD at the University of Portsmouth to lead the environmental impact evaluation of the UK’s first multi-berth shore power system — a key milestone in maritime decarbonisation.

?? You’ll monitor air, water, sediment, and sound pollution as ferries and cruise ships shut off their diesel engines and plug into clean electricity at Portsmouth International Port — part of the £21m SEA-CHANGE project.
This is a rare opportunity to:
? Build on an existing environmental baseline
? Work hands-on with real-time digital twin sensor data
? Use cutting-edge lab techniques (ICP-OES, acoustic monitoring, etc.)
