Faculty Position in Theoretical Physics at SISSA (Assistant/Associate Professor) Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati in Italy

SISSA (Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati) in Trieste, Italy, has an open call for a faculty position in Physics, aimed at outstanding female candidates. The appointment can be at the Assistant Professor (tenure-track) level or Associate Professor level.

The call welcomes applications across the Physics Area, including theoretical physics, theoretical particle physics, cosmology, astroparticle and gravitational physics, condensed matter physics, statistical physics, statistical physics of biological systems, and theoretical/scientific data science.

The successful candidate is expected to act as an independent principal investigator, lead and complement existing research activities, attract external funding, contribute to the SISSA PhD teaching programme, and supervise graduate students.
