Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science (MITS), Deemed to be University, is conducting a faculty recruitment drive for the academic year 2026–27. The School of Computing is seeking full-time faculty for the positions of Professor, Associate Professor, Senior Assistant Professor, and Assistant Professor. Specializations include Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cyber Security, and Networks.

Applicants for Professor, Associate Professor, and Senior Assistant Professor roles must hold a Ph.D. in an appropriate discipline from IIT, NIT, or a foreign university, with first class at both B.Tech. and M.Tech. levels. The required post-Ph.D. experience ranges from 2 to 12 years, depending on the position. Assistant Professor candidates must have an M.Tech. in a relevant discipline from a reputed university, with first class at B.Tech. and M.Tech., and at least 2 years of post-M.Tech. experience in academics, research, or industry. Additional increments are available for candidates with qualifications from institutions of national importance and foreign universities.

Salaries are competitive and follow the revised AICTE pay scale: Professor (minimum Rs. 33 LPA), Associate Professor (minimum Rs. 27.5 LPA), Senior Assistant Professor (minimum Rs. 16 LPA), and Assistant Professor with M.Tech. (minimum Rs. 8–10 LPA). Higher pay is available for deserving applicants. All applicants must meet the eligibility criteria as per UGC guidelines.
