About this position

The Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) is offering a full-time research and teaching assistant position in osteopathy, based in Brussels, Belgium. This role is designed for candidates with a strong background in osteopathy and a keen interest in neuro-biomechanics, musculoskeletal physiology, and clinical research. The assistant will be responsible for delivering practical lessons in osteopathic methodology, supervising master's theses within the osteopathic sciences research unit, and conducting research in neuro-biomechanics and musculoskeletal physiology, as well as clinical research in osteopathy.

The teaching load involves between 200 and 240 hours per year of face-to-face practical instruction, not including examination periods. The position requires expertise in osteopathy, experience with recording and processing biological signals from the sensory-motor system (including force, kinematics, EMG, EEG), and proficiency with computer communication and signal processing tools such as word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, statistical software, and biological signal analysis.

Applicants must hold a Master of specialization in Osteopathy Sciences and demonstrate good proficiency in both French and English.
