Fully funded PhD opportunity in polymer chemistry, macromolecular architectures, and materials science at Chimie ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Paris (IRCP / COCP team, PSL / Sorbonne Université context).

The project is titled “Bottom-Up Development of Dynamic Macromolecular Architectures” and focuses on the synthesis and study of dynamic comb and molecular brush polymers. The research includes preparation of initial linear polymers, access to 1D brushes and combs via photopolymerization and grafting-from approaches, and evaluation of polymer properties such as dynamic behavior in solution, rheology, and mechanical performance. The post also mentions the use of NHC/boranes Lewis chemistry to generate exchangeable arms and possible application as dispersants for narrow-band emitters in OLEDs.
