About this position

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team and work under the supervision of Prof Eoin O’Neill and Dr Finbarr Brereton, both experts in environmental policy and risk management.

The research will investigate attitudes to flood-risk management, focusing on the transition from engineering solutions to multifaceted approaches including risk perception, awareness, preparedness, and spatial manifestations. The project involves designing and administering social surveys on risk perception, climate change attitudes, and behavioral responses to natural hazards, with comparative spatial analysis using both new and existing datasets.
