Fully funded PhD opportunity in hydroclimate extremes and water security at the University of Saskatchewan, in the Department of Civil, Geological, and Environmental Engineering.

The position is hosted by the Hydroclimate Extremes and Water Security Lab (HEWSL), led by Dr. Cuauhtémoc T. Vidrio-Sahagún. The lab focuses on predicting water extremes, hydrology, statistical hydroclimatology, water resources engineering, and decision-support frameworks for floods, droughts, and other hydroclimate hazards.

This is a fully funded PhD opening with an ideal start date of September 2026; a later start in January 2027 may also be considered. The post does not specify a stipend amount or tuition details.
