The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Machine Learning Systems at the University of Edinburgh is offering fully funded 4-year PhD studentships starting in September 2026. This UKRI-funded CDT aims to train and develop future leaders across the systems-ML stack, providing comprehensive training in both machine learning and systems within the School of Informatics, a global leader in AI research.

All studentships are fully funded, covering tuition fees, research costs, and a stipend for four years, regardless of the applicant's country of origin. The program features strong industry engagement, including internships and events that connect students with leading organizations in academia and industry.
